The Barratt School supported Caitlin Wilkinson Whiticker

To fly with the eagle to talk to the owl

Caitlin was resident at The Barrett Adolescent Centre in Brisbane for 3 years. The Barratt School was a part of that Centre. For 30 years staff of the School and Centre had gone out of their way to help the young people, including Caitlin - who was part of the last group resident there, to get better, to touch their potential and to glimpse their self worth.
When the School and Centre were closed down by the Newman Government, the ‘wrap-around’ care that was promised for Caitlin and the other children never eventuated.

This part of the website is still under development as is the future for the Barratt School.
